Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is currently a butt of all kind of jokes on social media after his alleged resignation did not happen. There were reports on a local daily that the embattled legislator had tendered his resignation letter to national assembly speaker Justin Muturi.
Kuria found himself in trouble after he accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee government of neglecting the Mt. Kenya region in development matters. He has been bashed left and right by politicians from the region who accused him of undermining the President.
And Kenyans thought that the MP had bowed into pressure on Thursday and resigned. Drama unfolded when he denied the claims at Parliament buildings. He went ahead to say that his life is in danger and had recorded a statement with the DCI.
And now Kenyans are saying that Moses Kuria could not resign since he does not have the balls to do so. A section of netizens believe that the MP is a threat to his own life:
