Just after Raphael Tuju confirms to country through press after meeting at Pangani with jubilee members that the house is still standing amidst the hard hits it has experienced lately, a new blow has again landed on them leaving many still worried over their future.

Vocal Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria has quit his parliamentary position.Sources indicate that the MP wrote to Speaker Justin Muturi on Thursday tendering his resignation.

The move comes days after he caused a storm after accusing President Uhuru Kenyatta of neglecting the Mt Kenya region.

During New Year eve celebrations at Thika Stadium, Kuria had made the remarks implying Uhuru is biased in his development agenda.

“I want to say this, as we come to the end of 2019, I want you to think a seriously about your habit of voting in large numbers only to end up missing out on development projects,” he stated.

Kuria’s turn comes soon after a Jubilee head gave up the team.David Murathe resigned from his post as Jubilee Party’s interim vice-chairman, citing the conflict of interest in his bid to block Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

Mr Murathe made the announcement while explaining why he wants the DP to retire alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta come that year.

Tuju indicated in yesterday’s press statement that just like the Jubilee unity agenda, the handshake that brought ODM leader Raila Odinga on board was equally an important part of the national cohesion debate.

What has now become known as the ‘’hand shake” or Building of Bridges Initiative, is in fidelity with what is captured in the very first page of our Party Constitution which requires every true Jubilee Party member to embrace the vision and the mission of a Kenya for all Kenyans.
