Emery is quizzed on Arsenal’s pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez as he bids to bolster his squad in January.
Suarez has emerged as Arsenal’s No.1 January transfer target with the player open to a move to the Emirates.
With funds limited, Arsenal want to sign Suarez on loan but reports suggest Ernesto Valverde insists Denis Suarez still has a future at the club and will only willing to let him leave on a permanent basis.
“Denis is in a different position to Munir, because Denis can play for us in any match and he is always available,” Valverde said.
The reality is he was with our squad when we went to Getafe on Sunday and he is always competing to be in the squad, so yes he does have a future.“This is a period of the season when fixtures come thick and fast and we will need to make rotations, I am aware of this and so are the players.
Every game now we believe there will be a few changes, between league fixtures and those in the Copa all players available have a chance.”
It’s no secret that Unai Emery is keen on a reunion with Denis Suarez.
Having coached the Spaniard at Sevilla, the Barcelona man is seen as a player who could help improve the current Gunners squad.
Monday: ‘Denis Suárez could only join Arsenal on loan because the club don’t have sufficient funds to cover his £20m pricetag.’
Wednesday: ‘Arsenal are interested in Carrasco. The fee would be in the region of £25m.’

And Guillem Balague has revealed Barcelona will do a deal this month if it includes a permanent option.
“Denis Suarez wants Arsenal or to stay at Barcelona,” he told the GB transfer podcast.
“There’s a problem with that, Barcelona want to get money for him and Arsenal are only willing to get him on loan because they’ve got other priorities, he’s not the only name on the list for them.
“They want a midfielder and they want centre-backs, Denis Suarez is not a total priority.”
