Governor of Machakos County, Dr Alfred Mutua has highlighted his 2022 plan for the people of Kenya.
Mutua was speaking during the launch of the 19km Kivandini-Masinga Road yesterdy which was attended by Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana and Charity Ngilu.
Alfred Mutua said that the people of Machakos, and their well-being come first and he is ready and willing to work with all elected leaders in Machakos as they have mandate from the people for the benefit of the people.
As leadership of the Lower Eastern Region, Mutua assured their support to the government and leadership of President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and his fight against corruption.
“It is the era of Politics of development and not empty rhetoric.” he said
The governor also urged that the handshake that continues to unite Kenyans be of benefit to the People of Kenya and not a few selfish self seeking leaders who do not hold brief for the people.
The leaders also affirmed that the people remain supreme and will give mandate to the leadership that will continue henceforth to represent them on the national platform.
They also assure the people that the will work towards ensuring their inclusiveness in the next government of 2022.
He also said that they will continue to have their core purpose as improving the quality of life of their people.
Mutua speaking of his strategy said that they will take up the initiative to grow together as a region as their best course of action.
