Harmonize accused of stealing Grandpa records beat for his ‘Kwangwaru’ song

WCB artist Harmonize has been accused of stealing the beat of his Kwangwaru song from a Kenyan song that was produced 3 years ago by GrandPa Records.

The Kwangwaru song was released last year in April and has over 36Million views on You Tube.

Harmonize song which featured WCB Boss Diamond Platnumz is one of the songs that was on top of the charts in 2018 and still is a favourite to many of his fans.

These allegations on the beat to his song were made by GrandPa Records CEO  Refigah who was addressing the press on the state of the music industry in Kenya.

Refigah said that the media on their part have been too lazy to do their research and that is why they failed to notice that the WCB star allegedly stole his beat from a Kenyan song.

The GrandPa records CEO says that if you keenly listen to Tempo by Dufla which was released back in 2015 and was among Kenyan hit songs one will realize that the Kwangwaru beat is similar.

Refigah did not want to say more but also weighed in on the current debate between the Media and the Music Industry.

He urged them to stop playing the blame game but instead asked artists to go back to the drawing board and give the best in order to boost the industry.
