Are Paris Saint-Germain Still Asking For Big Price For Adrien Rabiot?

Paris Saint-Germain do not want to lower their demands for Adrien Rabiot, despite the midfielder being in the final six months of his contract with the club.

Rabiot has been suspended from playing for PSG indefinitely after he ended all talks over a new deal with the club towards the end of last year.

Barcelona have offered him a contract to join the club next summer on a free transfer and he is likely to accept the move as the Catalan giants have always been his preferred destination.

However, PSG continue to hope to sell him in January and have been courting interest from clubs such as Tottenham and Liverpool for Rabiot.

But a stumbling block for any transfer in January is PSG’s high demands, as according to French outlet Buzzsport.fr, the Parisians still want a fee of around €30m for Rabiot.

The midfielder’s contract situation has not done much to force PSG to consider their asking price and they want big money for his sale this month.

Most clubs are unlikely to consider entering into negotiations for Rabiot in January if PSG do not back down and accept a cut-price fee for the midfielder.

The Frenchman wants to stay until the summer and leave PSG on a free transfer.
