Manchester United are in Dubai for some warm weather training ahead of a huge game against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has enjoyed a wonderful start to life in charge at Old Trafford since replacing the sacked Jose Mourinho in December and a top four finish is back on the agenda for the Red Devils.

United have won their last five games but Sunday’s game at Wembley Stadium is by far their toughest test since the Norwegian took charge.

Tottenham have looked incredibly sharp in recent weeks and tonight they face Chelsea in the semi final of the Carabao Cup.

Solskjaer today gave an update on three players Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo and Fred.

“Marcos (Rojo) has gone back home because his injury is taking a bit longer than we thought,” Solskjaer told the club’s official website. “Fred’s partner is expecting a baby and Paul Pogba has had his knock and has had a few days of treatment back home.

“Hopefully, we can get Paul on his feet during this week.”

Pogba has been one of several players that have warmed to the leadership of Solskjaer and his goal-scoring return in recent weeks has been impressive. Romelu Lukaku is another who seems to be enjoying life since Mourinho left the club and his form in front of goal has been much improved.

Solskjaer also confirmed that Chris Smalling is continuing his recovery from a sore foot while Eric Bailly is suspended after his red card against Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
