Man City ‘told how much Juventus star will cost after making opening bid’

Manchester City are among three sides who have made an offer for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, according to reports.

City are said to have made the bid for Dybala as word has spread that he could be available in the summer.

However, Tuttorsport claim that the bids were all rejected by Juventus, who have named their terms for any future sale.

Dybala, 25, joined Juve in 2015 from Palermo, and has gone on to score 75 times for the club in 162 appearances with 28 assists.

But if City were to have a bid for Dybala accepted, the report says they would have to pay over €100 million (£89.8m) to secure his services.

That would exceed the fee received from Manchester United for Paul Pogba in 2016, and would smash City’s record transfer fee paid for Riyard Mahrez this summer.

In other transfer news, City are said to be tracking Atlético PR left back Renan Lodi.

The 20-year-old is also linked with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, but City are reported to be looking at the Brazilian as Benjamin Mendy remains Pep Guardiola’s only recognised left-back.
