Why Waiguru is eyeing another political big position

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru might be grooming herself about taking up another big political position. She has always made successful strides. Will these ones bear fruits really?

Anne Waiguru led other Jubilee members to celebrate the resignation of the David Murathe as the Jubilee party Deputy Chair person.

Waiguru, while referring to Murathe, said reckless utterances can often lead to unnecessary divisions and chaos.

“While freedom of expression is a protected right, incivility has no place in present-day Kenya or within the ruling Jubilee Party. We welcome the timely resignation of Murathe as a matter of course,” she tweeted.

Murathe had told Waiguru she could have the vice chairman job when she first called for Jubilee Party elections to appoint leaders with “legitimate mandate”

Murathe took up the vice chairman position in an interim capacity following the party’s failure to hold elections.

Waiguru yesterday tweeted, “.. #Muratheresigns… it’s about time! Viva Jubilee viva. Now Jubilee elections,.”

This bold sentiments made by Waiguru suggest that she is up for a higher course in the Jubilee Party. She has spoken like a boss, calling for even early elections to prevent the party from falling apart.

She has positioned herself high in the scale and she might do the same in convincing the Jubilee Party to gang up support behind her back even to take up the position left by David Murathe.

Do you think she is fit to lead Jubilee Party ?
