Tottenham Top Five Most Likely January Signings Revealed

Tottenham decided not to sign anyone in the summer transfer window and the decision has been vindicated following an impressive first half of the season.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino believes there are few players capable of improving his squad.

But who might Tottenham be looking at this month?

Betfair has priced up the top six most likely signings for this month and have some interesting names on their list.

Max Aarons – 11/10

Tottenham have arguably the best contingent of English players at a Premier League club with the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Harry Winks.

And it is no shock that could make another dip into the lower leagues to attract more top talent.

Aarons has been integral to Norwich’s promotion charge this season and could be ready for the step up.

Jack Grealish – 11/2

Tottenham have been linked with the Aston Villa playmaker regularly and were close to getting a deal over the line in 2018.

Grealish signed a new five-year contract in September but he is good enough to play in the Premier League.

And Aston Villa may look to sell and use the money to strengthen the squad and their push for the playoffs.

Malcom – 8/1

Malcom is out of favour at Barcelona and keen to play regular football.

He was linked with a move to north London rivals Arsenal but opted joined Barcelona where he has had to unsurprisingly play second fiddle Lionel Messi.

Should Barcelona decide to let Malcom leave, Spurs will be one of the front-runners for his signature.

Harry Maguire – 10/1

Tottenham triggered a 12-month extension in Toby Alderweireld’s contract last week but it now means he is available for just £25million.

Should he leave in the summer, Leicester’s Harry Maguire will be among the top players on Spurs’ shortlist to replace him.

The England centre-back’s price tag is around £60m despite a drop in form since the World Cup.

Jadon Sancho – 10/1

The hottest young player in European football.

The 18-year-old made a brave decision to leave English football and he has flourished at Borussia Dortmund.

Any deal for Sancho would shatter Spurs’ transfer record.

Wilfried Zaha – 16/1

Zaha is another player that has been frequently linked with Spurs.

He is Crystal Palace’s best player and most valuable asset so will command a high price.

But the lure of Champions League football could tempt the winger.
