Mombasa County and the entire Coastal region ODM members were lucky to host Party Leader and AU envoy Raila Odinga on his 74th birthday. The party led by Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho, who also doubles up as the Deputy Party Leader, hosted Raila to a lavish birthday party at the governor’s office.

Raila’s spokesman Denis Onyango had said the former Prime Minister had no special plans for his 74th birthday unless the Party surprises him. And the surprise was so cool as it came with a beautiful cake.
Some of the leaders present at the ceremony included Likoni MP Mishi Mboko. Conspicuously missing was the Malindi Women Rep Aisha Jumwa, who has been at loggerheads with the Party over her relationship with DP William Ruto.
