Churchill, Safaricom call for submissions in the bid to empower communities

Daniel Ndambuki who is famously known as Churchill has partnered with Safaricom to work on a project that will be of benefit  to Kenyans.

The motive of this initiative is to ensure that the dreams of Kenyans together with that of their community are fueled to become a reality.

The initiative was inspired by the story of a young lady who mentors over 2500 girls and faces challenges in raising the school fees for all the girls who are currently in school.

Bob and Churchill  started the conversation in one of the interviews on Churchill show and were equally moved by the story of the young lady.

They then followed up on the conversation with a meeting which resulted to a commitment by the safaricom CEO Bob Collymore.

Part of their discussion during the meeting was the commitment given by Bob Collymore as he said that they will be expecting Kenyans to send in their submissions of  projects aimed at changing the lives in their communities.

Safaricom has offered to work with Kenyans to make dreams for their communities come true and transform their lives upto 500 community dreams across the country.

The submission will be taken in for over the next 10 weeks before a follow up is done.

Have a look at how you can send in your submissions
