Jurgen Klopp: The FA Cup not enough to save Liverpool’s season

Jurgen Klopp: Winning FA Cup Won't Be Enough

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes winning the FA Cup won’t be enough to silence their critics.

Despite progress under the German, the reds are yet to win any silverware since he was appointed manager in 2015 losing Champions League, Europa League, and Carabao Cup finals since then.

Liverpool travel to Wolves on Monday in a tricky third round of the FA Cup aiming to bounce back from their first league defeat of the season against Manchester City.

“It is always when people talk to me about silverware it always looks like we have to get each little thing.

“If we won the FA Cup then people would say that we didn’t win the Premier League for so many years. We cannot change what other people think.

“We have to try our best in every game we play and so far, not only this season but especially this season, that’s what the boys did – and that’s what we will try again and again and again and we will see what happens.” he said

The Merseyside club have failed to go past the fourth round of the FA Cup since Klopp took charge.
