Equity Bank of Kenya has come up through the programme of wings to fly to rescue vulnerable students in the society.
Through the wings to fly program, Equity has come to tell the world the tribulations some of the students undergo. The devastating stories of how students from poverty stricken families undergo in order to have access to education.
The story of Augustin who lost his father two weeks to his KCPE examination is true example of what others go through. Despite the loss of a loved one he managed to excel and though the wings to fly scholarship, his dreams are still alive.
Augustin lost his father two weeks before he did his KCPE and started to lose hope in his future but his teachers encouraged him to work hard after which he scored 404 marks and is now on his way to Kapsabet Boys high school thanks to Wings to Fly scholarship #WingsToFly2019
