Real Madrid star to Arsenal?

Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Unai Emery has responded to the reports.

Emery says Arsenal has not made any bid for the Madrid shot-stopper adding he his very happy with the three goalkeepers he has. The north London side currently hasPetr Cech, Bernd Leno and Emiliano Martinez on the books but reports in Spain have suggested that the Premier League club has tabled a bid for Navas.

Emery, however, has denied reports that Arsenal has offered £14million for the 32-year-old.

“Not true,” replied when asked about the reports.

When asked if the club is in the market for a keeper, he said, “I don’t know. We never speak about one goalkeeper because I think – and it’s true – we are very happy with the three goalkeepers we have now. We’ve never spoken about Keylor Navas.”

Navas has been limited to just eight appearances for Real Madrid this season following the arrival of Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea and he has previously hinted that his time at the Bernabeu is coming to a close.
