Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Overhaul Begins As Star Offered Huge Deal

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are reportedly preparing an offer for the midfielder who signed a new deal at Old Trafford six months ago. According to Turkish outlet Takvim, Fellaini has been offered £12.7m over the course of a 3.5-year contract by the SuperLig outfit.

Fenerbahce are currently waiting on a response from the Belgium international’s entourage.

The report claims that United are demanding a transfer fee of £7.25m for the United player. Fellaini was a regular starter under former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho.

But the 31-year-year-old has seen just three minutes of Premier League action since the ‘Special One’ was sacked just prior to Christmas.

New manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer benched Fellaini for the two wins over Huddersfield and Bournemouth.

And the former Everton star was not even in the squad as the Red Devils beat Newcastle 2-0 last night. Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer set to begin squad overhaul as star offered huge deal.

Solskjaer reportedly wants to promote youth players as he bids to play the ‘United’ way during his tenure.

Talented 18-year-old attacking midfielder Angel Gomes was handed a late cameo at Old Trafford on boxing day.

Solskjaer emulated Sir Matt Busby by taking his record to four wins from four games thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford last night.

And the caretaker manager says he does not want to leave his role at the club in the summer.
