Kenyan Influential Singer Akothee has ushered in her new year with all the hype and blessings as she recently received an award in Dallas, Texas.
Akothee was awarded with a Dear Award, awards that aim at celebrating Africans who have a great impact in the society both abroad and in their local countries.
This happens in an awarding ceremony that was given a boost with the intention of recognizing the efforts of those who work extra hard no matter how they feel like ordinary people.
It factors in people who have made impact in Africa and in this case, Madam President herself, Akothee met the cut.
Akothee who is currently on a trip in France could however not attend the ceremony but her award was received by Kenya’s Finest Vera Sidika.
