MP Jaguar has recently weighed in concerning the remarks given by the Kikuyu council of Elders concerning 2022 politics.
Although the MP says that he has much respect for the kikuyu elders , he insists that the issue on the presidency for the year 2022 is untimely and uncalled for.
Instead he calls on leaders to join together, maintain peace and avoid utterances that will create divisions in our country.
According to the Nation Reports, The Kikuyu Council of Elders said it has no deal with Kalenjin elders concerning Deputy President William Ruto’s quest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
Wachira Kiago, the council’s national chairman, noted on Monday that there is no debt to be paid as anyone can lead the country.
remarks that comes after Jubilee Party vice chairman David Murathe called on Mr Ruto to retire with the president in 2022, sparking debate and disagreements among various parties.
Even as some political leaders came into support and others critic the sentiments of the Jubilee Party vice chairman; Jaguar says that this should not even be case at a moment where all that Kenyans want is development and leaders concern for their needs.
The 2022 politics has been a hot debate but as the President said, leaders should now stop with the 2022 politics and focus on development.
