Museveni gains supporters in ‘evangelism’ against the Weave and Wig ‘Epidemic’

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has gained supporters on the big fake vs natural  hair debate.

What began as a small point of correction has turn out to be a real conversation that even Kenyans have made it part of the big talk.

Museveni   had given his opinion saying that  Africans should embrace their natural beauty. Remarks he gave  in regard to the Miss Uganda who had paid him a courtesy call at State House after she was crowned  Miss World Africa.

Muzukulu Quiin Abenakyo took note of Museveni’s words and decided to go natural in a recent dinner where she was hosted by Museveni and the Ugandan First Lady.

Weighing in on Museveni’s opinion one of Kenya’ s top media personality Linus KaiKai declared that he fully supports the Ugandan head of state in the ‘evangelism’ against the Weave and Wig ‘Epidemic’.

Exactly how Linus describes it an epidemic; and on even gave their reason to support saying that Alot of drainages are being blocked by synthetic hair additions.

We are living in the era where women are all sorts of obsessed about make up, fake nails, fake eyebrows and all the things that count as beauty enhancers.

Although it is not bad to use any of the above, critics say that the real African beauty is being dimmed and the true definition of beauty is taking  new form and shape.

Even though this ‘fake hair’ is criticized ladies who are used to it can tell a different side of the story since it comes in handy.

Personally I never used to fancy weaves until I got  a demanding scheduled and it seemed to be the shortcut to having  neat hair

Well you could rock short hair too but not much  time is spent on getting  a weave fixed or wearing that wig in seconds.

Even so, everyone’s opinion on this counts.. what i yours? Have a look at some reactions.
