Kenyans have been allover social media accusing the political class of being corrupt and insincere in their daily living. Is this what they practice in their lives? Seems not!
Just a day ago, activist Boniface Mwangi exposed a drunk driver after he almost wiped out his entire family for drunk driving and tagged his insurer in a long tweet. However, Kenyans online attacjed hi and accused him of being off the mark in his exposure.
The responses to this tweet are very revealing of our psyche as a nation.
People insulting BM for flagging a drunken driver who almost wiped out his family.
Yet when drunken drivers kill people on our roads, we rush to condemn and wail like it's a shocking surprise.

Here are some of the reactions from Kenyans.
Woah so many Kenyans are so corrupt even in simple thought, saying “ukona umama” & “ukona mucene” but still complaining about road deaths and grand corruption forgetting it starts with them. If you want change be the change people

We have fresh cases where drivers alleged to be drunk killed innocent pedestrians. Wait till it happens to your doorstep then you tweet matusi (if your fingers would have been spared that is).

It should be made mandatory to have a dashcam, then in the event of such, we just play the footage back, no footage, no compensation and in this case, permanent revocation of your D.L, 1 year in jail and 10 years probation and mandatory AA meetings.
