A photo of a taxify driver went viral after he was reported to have shown up in a towel to pick the person who had sent out a request.
Some had jumped in saying that this complaint was not true as it was just meant to be comical. Others said the man in the photo resembles a Ugandan Politician Kiza Besigye.
The concern was raised man took to twitter to share his frustration after his sister was left stranded and shocked by this incident.
What would you do if a taxify driver came in dressed up like this? Well this is the most unprofessional thing I have personally come across this year.
Taxify South Africa responded to these complaints saying that it is not okay and they will follow up on the matter.
“Good morning.. That is not okay! Please DM us the phone number that was used to request this trip so we look into it further.” reads their tweet
Hilarious comments followed as this was such a rare complaint. In most cases we have heard complaints like delay or being overcharged and encounters with rude drivers are the only reports we hear.
This particular one was out of the ordinary and totally unacceptable. The man also shared that the Taxify driver changed his profile picture to a photo of him in possession of a gun.
The lady who gave the reports was seemingly shaken by this photo and they called upon the South Africa Police to come through for them on this case.
