Kenyans warned as car theft reported to be on the rise

Kenyans have been warned over the rise of car theft in the country. Criminals are now stealing cars and  if not that then some are simply robbing off items  and leaving the vehicles in bad shape.

In a recent incident, a tweep shared photos online of how a car was left with shattered glass and  wires pulled out.

A great loss indeed and some even steal the side mirrors to sell them at even cheaper price. For car  owners I guess you realize how expensive  it is to replace the side mirrors or simply fix a car.

Back home in Kilifi county a season comes when this theft of side mirrors gets real. Like some sort of wave, neighbors used to complain about a gang that was known to be moving from house to house.

Night police patrols usually come in handy in such areas with highly reported cases.

Kenyans have therefore called upon the police to take action and deal with this crime as it should be.

A couple weeks ago, theft cases were reported to be on the rise in Uthiri areas as residents lamented on recent incidents.

A man online revealed the pain of having to wake up and see that his car side mirror and those of the neighbors stolen and the vehicle windows broken.
