Kirinyaga governor Mrs. Anne Waiguru has come out to call his party to hold elections to prevent the party from falling apart.
It is therefore imperative, and in order, that the Jubilee Party hold party elections soonest possible, to forestall internal divisions, and ensure that statements are made by Elected Party Officials, and that they infact represent the views of the Jubilee Party as a whole.

The Jubilee Party is the ruling party in Kenya and in recent times it has experienced some real heat from the members who hold different political ideologies.
The jubilee party therefore needs a leadership that has a legitimate mandate and the people’s support.

The jubilee party must support the Building Bridges Initiative to ensure the continued unity of the Nation.

The rise of the Jubilee Party heated exchange escalated when the the Party Vice Chair Person David Murathe said that the party does not owe the Deputy President Support in 2022. Murathe instead advised DP Ruto to consider retiring together with the President in 2022.
This sentiments have raised divisions in the party. Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa, William Kabogo, Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruyoit among other leaders came out to criticize the Deputy Chair of Jubilee Party sentiments. They rubbished them saying he does not have a say in the party matters.

This has caused splits as some members of the Party have silently echoed Murathe’s sentiments.
In a state of the nation address the President disowned David Murathe’s sentiments and instead insisted on working towards achieving the big four agenda.
Mrs. Anne Waiguru has also challenged Jubilee party to act in a united manner as it is the ruling party that should serve as an example to other political parties.
The Jubilee Party is the Ruling Party of The Republic of Kenya. The party must therefore always demonstrate Unity of purpose and exhibit its undivided support for the Big Four Agenda, Accelerated Development and Enhancement of devolution for the welfare of Kenyans.

Waiguru claims on the state of the Jubilee party have also raised numerous reaction from Kenyans; take a look at some of the reactions:
We expect that #JubileeParty should be speaking as one and not some individuals speaking for the party. This shows lack of focus in driving the country towards achieving the Big 4 Agenda

The #JubileeParty has been one of the strongest parties in the country. They need to be an example to other parties.

Mr Murathe said that Mount Kenya region had not signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with anybody regarding the presidential elections I think this is very reckless and should not even be talked about#jubileeparty
