Anne Waiguru calls for elections in the Jubilee Party

Kirinyaga governor Mrs. Anne Waiguru has come out to call his party to hold elections to prevent the party from falling apart.

The Jubilee Party is the ruling party in Kenya and in recent times it has experienced some real heat from the members who hold different political ideologies.

The rise of the Jubilee Party heated exchange escalated when the the Party Vice Chair Person David Murathe said that the party does not owe the Deputy President Support in 2022. Murathe instead advised DP Ruto to consider retiring together with the President in 2022.

This sentiments have raised divisions in the party. Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa, William Kabogo, Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruyoit among other leaders came out to criticize the Deputy Chair of Jubilee Party sentiments. They rubbished them saying he does not have a say in the party matters.

This has caused splits as some members of the Party have silently echoed Murathe’s sentiments.

In a state of the nation address the President disowned David Murathe’s sentiments and instead insisted on working towards achieving the big four agenda.

Mrs. Anne Waiguru has also challenged Jubilee party to act in a united manner as it is the ruling party that should serve as an example to other political parties.
