However, not every Liverpool player has had a good time. Spanish defender Moreno has publicly criticized Klopp and bluntly said that he was treated unfairly.
Moreno was once the main left-back of Liverpool, but after the Scottish teenager Robertson gets the chance to play as the main force, the injured Moreno completely lost his position. This season he has only played twice for Liverpool.
In an interview, Moreno confided: “I am not happy at all. This is a fact. I give everything for the team and even get injured. I think after the injury I deserve some chances to play. It’s not an excessive request for any players. But the way Klopp treats me makes me very unhappy, so to speak.”
This summer, Moreno’s contract with Liverpool will end, he has revealed that he is considering returning to his hometown to play: “I am thinking about going back to Spain. I am tired of the cold weather here, but I have not received invitations from other clubs. I have been in Liverpool for 5 years and they have no intention to renew the contract. I am free to find my next destination in January.”
