Jose Mourinho Disagree with new Man United Manager

Jose Mourinho will disagree with what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said about Manchester United

JOSE MOURINHO will completely disagree with what his replacement at Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said.

One of Mourinho’s gripes as Manchester United boss was the fact former players still held a lot of power at the club.

He was reportedly annoyed by criticism from Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes and believed they were a contributing factor to his demise.

But Solskaer, who scored 126 goals in 366 games for United, says he’s not bothered by any criticism – and told Sky Sports host Gary Neville he can say whatever.

“Don’t worry, Gary will be really hard on me,” said Solskjaer.

“I sat next to him in the dressing room for 11 years.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has been told he can say what he likes

“He’s paid now to give his opinion and of course he should do. I’m no different to anyone else. I’m no different to any other manager when you lead that team out onto the pitch.”

Express Sport understands Solskjaer will land a £2million bonus if he secures Champions League qualification for United.

Solskjaer took charge as caretaker boss last week with United 11 points adrift of the top four.

But Saturday’s thumping 5-1 win at Cardiff in his first game and Chelsea’s home defeat to Leicester has seen his side reduce the gap to eight points.

United executive vicechairman Ed Woodward is desperate for the club to secure a top-four finish. Missing out on the Champions League would cost them more than £40m in lost revenue, prize money and sponsorship clauses.

Woodward also knows United have to be competing in club football’s biggest competition to stand a realistic chance of landing their summer transfer targets.

United last failed to secure Champions League qualification in 2016 – and it resulted in Louis Van Gaal being sacked. It also hit United hard in the pocket, so Woodward has decided to offer Solskjaer a huge financial incentive to achieve the aim.
