They say malipo ni hapa hapa duniani. There is no way you are getting out of this world without paying for your sins. Whether this statement is true, depends on whom you ask.
But the statement is spot on when it comes to the story of Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli and her now ex-boyfriend Jared Nevaton Ombongi. Lilian is now at the centre of a nasty break up and unlike most celebrities she decided to air her dirty linen in public by breaking the news about the break up on Instagram.
Lilian and Jared began dating in 2016 after she broke up with her ex-husband Moses Njuguna Kanene in a nasty breakup that has been the talk of town ever since. Lilian accused Mr. Kanene of “adultery, cruelty and desertion” in a divorce case filed at the Milimani Courts on January 7, 2016.
But some people were surprised at the way she moved on very fast? Did the divorce have anything to do with Moses, or Lilian had just found another guy; more loaded than her ex?
Within a two year period, Lilian has dated, given birth to a baby number two via ‘Pregnant with Lilian Muli’ and broken up again. But a section of Kenyans believe the journalist does not deserve sympathy because she knew what she was getting herself into when she started dating Jared.
