’I Fancy Joining Liverpool’: Pundit Makes Transfer Claim About European Players

That’s according to former Premier League star Michael Brown, who believes Jurgen Klopp has made Liverpool an ‘attractive’ club to join.
The Reds sit top of the Premier League – four points clear of Manchester City.

“I think Liverpool have now turned a corner, they’ve become attractive,” he told the BBC.

“A couple of years ago they were in that lull where there was going to be lots of change.
“I think now with that manager in Klopp and the players they’ve got, Virgil van Dijk, we’re talking Mo Salah, Philippe Coutinho moves on – I think they’re now attractive.

“A player in Europe will be thinking: ‘I fancy joining Liverpool, I can see what they’re doing.’

“And the style, it’s so attractive to play for him, the way he is and you just like him. You would like to work for him.

“It all depends if Manchester City stay on the top of their game, they are better than Liverpool.

“But, again, they have to do it week in week out and they didn’t do it [against Crystal Palace].”

Liverpool sit top at Christmas and Brown thinks they will become big favourites if they turn over Manchester City – who have a ‘psychological block’ – when the two clubs meet at Anfield on January 3.

“What’s worrying me at the moment for Man City is a certain Mo Salah,” he said.

“He just seems to be getting a couple of goals at the minute, he’s starting to get it back together [after] a slow start to the season. But if he’s on fire again, that could be the difference.

“Looking forward to the game, January 3rd, massive.

“I’ve got to say there is a psychological block with Liverpool for Manchester City, going to the Etihad.

“I think Manchester City fear one team and it’s Liverpool. If they beat Manchester City, they’ll be favourites by a long way.”
