Doom has been on the road of Kenyans making December 2018 one of the periods to be painfully remembered as catastrophic based on the number of lives lost in tragic accidents.
In other news, unfortunately,one person died while scores others sustained injuries following an accident along Nakuru- Eldoret highway.
The accident happened after the brakes of a trailer failed, making the driver lose control of the vehicle before ramming into several vehicles.
The injured were taken to Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital in Nakuru.
In Nairobi, one person died and several others injured in an accident along Thika Road.
The incident saw a personal car ram into rail guards near Githurai.
Still today as well,three Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers died and several others injured following a road accident at Salama slope on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway in Makueni County.
According to Mukaa OCPD Charles Muthui, the KDF soldiers aboard a military truck were coming from Mombasa heading to Kahawa barracks in Nairobi when the accident happened.
One soldier died on the spot and nine others were rushed to Machakos Level 5 hospital for treatment after sustaining injuries. Two others succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment..
One soldier is also reported to have escaped unhurt.
