News that Chief Justice David Maraga nd his wife Yucabeth Nyaboke have been involved in a tragic accident at Ng’ata Bridge along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway have continued to elicit different reactions online.
It was not long before someone had to bring the issue of foul-play into play. According to some people, the fact that Maraga was involved in an accident barely a day after making some landmark rulings on election petitions at the Supreme Court is enough to warrant a public inquest into the accident.
We need a public inquest to establish circumstances that led to the accident of CJ David Maraga especially after giving landmark rulings yesterday.

On Friday, Maraga nullified the election of Embakasi South MP Julius Mawathe and his Ugenya counterpart Chris Karani. But perhaps his biggest ruling was when he upheld the election of Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and that of Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter.
Do you think Maraga’s accident had anything to do with his rulings at the Supreme Court?
Some people have refused to agree with this line of thought. Accidents are natural and can happen to anyone.
People are now blaming Chief Justice David Maraga’s accident on his enemies,Nothing happens naturaly in Africa Enemies must bear the blame. Anyway quick recovery CJ & Wife
