Mohamed Salah Asked Bizarre Question At Half-Time – Fans Are NOT Happy

The Egyptian was at his best on Friday evening as Liverpool moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League with a 2-0 win at Molineux.

Salah netted in the first-half before setting up Virgil van Dijk for the second after the interval.

But before he went down the tunnel at half-time, Wolves star Saiss approached the forward and asked if he could have his shirt.

And football fans reacted angrily on Twitter, condemning the Moroccan international for his hasty action.

“Saiss asking for Salah’s shirt as the teams leave the pitch at half time. Bloody hate that. Why not ask for an autograph and a selfie as well?” one tweeted.

“Unbelievable. A Wolves player has just asked Mo Salah for his shirt as they were coming off the pitch – AT HALF TIME!” one said.

“Why is Saiss asking Salah for his shirt, its only kin half time!!!!” another added.

“@Romain_Saiss asking Salah for his shirt at half time. #embarrassing,” said a fourth.

Salah was approached at the end of the clash by Ruben Vinagre, who came off the bench in the second-half.

The Portuguese full-back was keen to swap shirts with the Liverpool star, who had to explain that he had already promised Saiss.

The interaction was captured in a video posted by Liverpool’s official Twitter account.

Speaking after the clash, Jurgen Klopp praised goalscorer Van Dijk.

“He is in a good moment and very important for us and hopefully it can stay like this,” he said.

“The work-rate in general is outstanding with how we defended.

“I love the boy but the two in front [Jordan Henderson and Fabinho] have to run a lot more to make it easier for the centre-halves and they did it again.

“Forty-eight points before Christmas, it’s just crazy, but there are other teams there as well.

“At the end of season you need 105 [points] to be champion – it could be. We cannot start a party.”
