It’s all digital! How candidates can check their KCSE results

Cabinet Secretary for Education Amina Mohamed is currently announcing the Kenya National Examinations Council headquarters on Dennis Pritt Road which is different from what the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education results which where announced in Mombasa by the CS.

The Ministry and the exam body have leveraged on mobile technology to send out results to the candidates and the families that are waiting with baited breath.

The over 600,000 KCSE candidates for this year will be able to know their results either by sending a text or looking it up online.

The candidates will only need to send an SMS with their index number to 20076 to get their results as was the case with the KCPE results. This applies to most carriers so you can confirm with your preferred carrier whether they support this and the charges. For example, Airtel Kenya has already confirmed that the premium SMS service costs Ksh. 25 per SMS.
