Drama erupted yesterday in Runda as a group of youths stormed Meru Senator Mithika Linturi’s wife’s home and tried to evict her. The incident called the attention of the police, who came to intervene the situation, but now, did  Mary Keitany go back to the house after the drama? Did she even salvage any item from the house? She has opened up about being evicted from their home in Runda.

Keitany stated that she was not able to salvage any items during her eviction, which resulted in the damage of many items.

When journalists asked where she would sleep, she responded that she would spend the night at the Runda Police Station because she didn’t have anywhere else to go.

She narrated that during the ordeal, the goons broke into the house and terrorised her under the protection of police officers.

The former Chief of Staff at Deputy President William Ruto’s office also explained that the individual hired to drive her out of the house did not serve any orders to support their actions.

The two have been embroiled in a feud that saw the Senator barred from accessing the home by a court in November.

Senior Resident Magistrate Isaac Orenge barred the Meru legislator from loitering near the home or any other place where his wife frequents.

Linturi was also warned against threatening to damage any of the property associated with Keitany.

Keitany filed the case after her husband, a licensed gun holder, reportedly threatened to shoot her during a domestic brawl in the same home.

The senator had been put on the spot by his wife over the death of their house help Edith Kananuin October. That is when the situation escalated and the legislator allegedly threatened to kill Keitany.

Here is the video of Keittany narrating about her situation.
