South African PL Side Free State Stars have finally presented Serbian Nikola Kavazovic as it’s head coach over a month after it parted ways with Luc Eyamael.
Nikola has signed for AFC Leopards but left after a short stint in order to attend to some family issues but has never returned to the den.
Nikola has now been penned down a two-year deal with the South African side.
Confirming the latest development on their portal, Free States through their general manager Mr Rantsi Mokoena said they took their time to rope in a new coach with Nikola being labelled as the right man for the position.
The coach will be assisted by David Vilakazi and Selaotse Mosala.
“We really took our time in searching for the new coach, we made sure we choose the right man for the job, said Free State Stars General Manager Rantsi Mokoena.
“The coach brings vast experience to our league, having coached Botswana’s Township Rollers and recently for the very first time in their history, Rollers qualified for the Champions League.
“He is a strong believer of youth players and what I also liked about the coach is that when he was introduced to the players he knew their names.” read a statement on the Club’s official Website.
