Rio Ferdinand has revealed that Manchester United should stick with Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard as they are the future of the club.
Anthony Martial was widely linked with a move out of Manchester United in the summer transfer window after reports that he had fallen out with Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman has responded well this season after starting a few games on the bench to become the club’s top scorer. Rashford was also rumored to be on Real Madrid’s radar with the youngster getting limited play time at the start of the season.
Ferdinand noted that the trio are the future of the club and should not be sold, “The three players have a good future at Manchester United but only if they get the support they need.
“They are the future of United and must be handled with good care and treated well. So far things are not working out for them as it should be but I have hope that they will stay there for longer.”
