Arsenal target set to be released by PSG

Paris Saint Germain sporting director Antero Henrique has confirmed the club will let Adrien Rabiot leave at the end of the season.

Henrique says the midfielder will not sign a contract extension and will be definitely benched as he is set to walk for free in the summer.

The 23-year-old has spent his entire career to date with the French side and has shown his potential since making it to the first team at the age of 17.

In PSG’s title win last season, he made 33 appearances in 38 matches. Despite being an important player for the Ligue 1 side, Rabiot has refused to sign a new deal as he is linked with a potential departure for several years.

This means he will be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club during the January transfer window.

“Adrien Rabiot has told me that he will not sign a contract extension & that he wishes to leave the club at the end of the season, so once his current deal finishes. The consequences are very clear: he is indefinitely benched,” said Antero Henrique:

The free agent in June has received approaches from Manchester City, Arsenal, Juventus, and Barcelona. However, Rabiot camp have told his most determined suitors, Tottenham, that he is not interested in joining them
