Kenyan football seem to be finally heading into the right direction. After the Mens National team qualified for the African Cup of Nations, Kenyan future football stars have today won the inaugural Copa Coca Cola African Cup after seeing off Nigeria 3-2 on Post Match Penalties.
The final tally was 0-0 and the game was forced into post-match penalties.
The match took place at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.
Jacob Onyango was awarded the Golden Boot after netting five goals in The AFCON U16 tournament.
Kenya took the Golden Boot and Gloves, while Nigeria got the Best Player slot.
Kenyan under 16 Female team also grabbed top honors in the just concluded tournament by winning 1- 0 against Zimbabwe.
