Manchester United youngster send message

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira says he wants to repay the face which has been shown in him by Jose Mourinho at the club.

The Brazilian attracted eyes of many club’s supporters during the pre-season and the fans expected he would be a key figure in the current campaign. However, Pereira has found himself mostly on the bench while in most recent matches he has become a rotational squad player.

Pereira, who resisted the temptation of leaving Old Trafford on loan again and played just 35 more minutes for the first time since August.

The young midfielder is set to start for United against Valencia on Wednesday night and took time to thank Mourinho for the confidence he has shown.

“Yes, I’m very confident and very happy that the manager gave me this opportunity. I just want to show him and all of the staff and the players what I can do and help the team,” he told ManUnited.com.

“I think I changed a lot. I’m more mature, I’m making fewer mistakes, I’m more consistent than I was before, so hopefully, I can keep this up and be more consistent in every game,” he added

Should he get more play time?
