R.I.P! Baba Junior actor Jamal Nassul laid to rest in Mombasa

Jamal, who was allegedly stabbed to death by his lover after an argument, was buried in at Kikowani Muslim cemetery in Mombasa. His burial was conducted as per Islam culture which dictates a deceased should be buried as soon as physically possible after a number of burial traditions.

The deceased succumbed to stab injuries on the evening of Tuesday, December 11 but by Wednesday evening, his body had already arrived in Frere town home in Nyali constituency. He was then buried on Thursday December 13 morning.

The prime suspect in the murder who was the late Jamal’s ex-lover before Mavoko court Principal magistrate Charity Chebii Oluoch on Thursday although she did not take plea. She is set to spend five more days in remand, although she maintained her story that the late Jamal was not stabbed but instead fell on a butcher knife.

A good Samaritan called Athi River police station and made a report at 6.15am. It was recorded under OB No 08/12/12/2018.

“It was reported that Jamal Nassul Gaddafi (39), was having a party at Arks Hotel near 67 Airport Hotel on the night of December 11, 2018. There was a quarrel between him and his friend Grace Kanamu Namu (40). She picked a knife and stabbed him,” the police report reads.

Gaddafi, who also acted in the KTN Junior series, was rushed to Shalom Community Hospital in Athi River where he was pronounced dead.
