Mourinho reveals his expectation on Pogba ahead of Champions League

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is hopeful that Paul Pogba will take his chances and have a good impact in the UEFA Champions League clash against Valencia on Wednesday 12th December.

Pogba has come under the spotlight recently, having failed to start two of the last Manchester United games. Since the 2-2 draw against Southampton a fortnight ago where Jose Mourinho is reported to have labeled Pogba a virus following his poor display in the game, the Frenchman has only made one substitute appearance. Pogba sat in the bench for the full 90 minutes against Fulham over the weekend.

In a press conference ahead of the Valencia clash, Mourinho was hopeful Pogba will have a good impact in the game, “I’m looking for him to play well and have a good impact in the game and a good impact in the team. A team without many players that don’t have many miles on their legs, a team with some players that are not playing a lot.

“So I hope that people like Paul and a couple of others that are normally in the team have that number of miles that players need to be at that top level and have a good impact on the team.
