Manchester United midfielder sends warning to Juventus

Manchester United star Juan Mata has delivered a stern warning to Juventus as he said that the Red Devils will look to finish top of the group, with them set to travel to Valencia.

Juve have to beat Young Boys tomorrow in Turin to progress, but if they slip up and Manchester United beat Valencia at the Mestalla, the Reds could finish top of the group by making sure that the bianconeri finish second.

Mata was talking to the official Manchester United website about his return to the Mestalla about seven years of his exit from the country and he also delivered a warning to the Old Lady.

He said: “Wednesday is another special day for me, I had 12 December recorded on my calendar for weeks, because we are going to play at Mestalla and, if there is another team I care about, that’s Valencia.

“It ‘s a team that gave me a lot of confidence when I was an inexperienced young player in the first Spanish division and has fans I can not wait to see again and I receive regular support messages from them and I’m excited to come back to Mestalla.

“It will not be an important race for Valencia to go to the next round. We have the chance to finish on top of our group and we will fight for it.”
