Sad!! Five worshippers die in Mombasa road crash

Since the return of Michuki Rules law,Kenyans have witnessed a number of road accidents.Today morning, five people have  lost their lives after the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a horrific accident at Kapiti plains along Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.

Reports indicate that 13 others suffered serious injuries in the head-on collision involving a matatu and a truck.

The incident was confirmed by Machakos Deputy Director for Emergency Services Festus Kitongu with the injured being rushed to Machakos Level Five Hospital.

The victims in the matatu are said to be worshippers who were heading to Mombasa for a tour.

Nakuru road crash

This comes a day after two people died Sunday morning after a 14-seater matatu they were travelling in was involved in a crash at Total Junction on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.

At least thirteen others sustained serious injuries after the matatu collided with a truck,the two vehicles were heading to Nakuru from Eldoret when the crash happened.

On Saturday last week a driver of a lorry  died in a fiery crash after his truck collided head-on with another at Nyambare area along the Nairobi Nakuru highway.The Mitsubishi canter was heading towards Nakuru when the driver lost control and swerved off to the other lane where it collided with another one.
