Akothee’s daughter who also happens to be the face of Nevea Agrrey Dion Okello popularly known as Rue Baby has come out explaining on why she called her mum a Bitch.
responded to critics who believed that together with her sisters, they are disrespectful for calling their mother a ‘b***h’.
While speaking to Radio Jambo presenter Massawe Japanni, the 20-year-old model, said,“It’s not an abuse eti tunamtusi, I would say we have the best relationship with our mom, my mom is our best friend. Actually, ukatupata tumekaa tunazungumza unaeza dhani ni madada wanne, so us calling her bitch it’s not a big deal so watu kwa mtandao wanafaa wawache kuchukua nikama tunatusi mama yetu,” She said.
She further went on to credit her celebrity mother for a great bond they share with their mother revealing that unlike what many perceive, they were actually brought up in a spiritual family by a tough and a non-nonsense mother who values discipline.
In addition she said, “Venye ametulea na venye tumekuwa close na yeye throughout all those troubles she has been through, we have built that relationship and that bond. So, us calling her whatever name we want to refer her with she does not mind, as long as your mother does not mind, I think it is ok,” she said adding that “We are seventh day Adventists so kila saturday lazima twende kanisani.”
The first time Rue publicly called her mum a bitch was in March this year when she complained that her mother was making too much noise.
“Waaaahh… bitch you be making that noise this early morning @akotheekenya… eiii please am sleeping,” she posted on her Instagram.
Akothee then responded by writing “@rue.baby, yes bitch you know me at 6.00 am everyone is up No wonder you threw me out of your hostel na God will see you I love you my chuchu.”
