Shock as Another Youth is nabbed Stealing from the public with impunity

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday defended his decision to employ 91 year old Moody Awori, saying he would rather work with an old man who will protect public funds than employ youths who are stealing with impunity.

And even though these sentiments were not received well among the youth, we have so far revealed some cases in which the youths are stealing public funds.

Detectives are looking for a receptionist at NHIF who bought eight houses worth Sh160 million between 2013 and 2017 at an upmarket estate in Athi River.

He also owns a chain of car and carpet-cleaning businesses across Nairobi valued at Sh50 million. They are managed by his wife whom he married at a lavish wedding held at Safari Park at a cost of Sh25 million.

Fredrick Sagwe Onyancha is among 20 people the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji wants arrested for suspected corruption at the NHIF.

The DCI has also revealed that they arrested 25 year old Peter Nyabogoye, who has been making fake KDF letters and later selling them to the public.

Nyabogoye  was arrested with  a Copy of Medical Examination Form,  KDF Calling Letter for January 2019,  A Copy of Police Clearance Certificate, A Copy of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces Application to Service Form and A Copy of Unknown Recruitment Format Application Form.

This means that the youth are not only stealing from the public but also from their fellow youths.
