Social media platforms can be so addictive and quite engaging and sometimes that becomes the routine we know, we embrace and we are familiar of.
It becomes the part of us that we do not want to let go. We want to keep it alive.
In a space full of entertainment, news, educative content name it all and that is exactly where we all want to be sometimes.
Twitter has become one of those spaces. Some would even term it as the ‘New religion’
You might actually think that it is funny until you realize your day would actually be disrupted if you are not constantly checking on the trends.
Is it breaking news? Twitter been known to be the core platform of fast paced news and this is undeniably true.
For news anchors and media houses this space has been a great contribution to being a direct source of updates.
Today tweeps have actually taken that space to imagine of the app as a religion what would it be like?
What would it mean? Perhaps followers would be called disciples and the notifications that keep buzzing would be pure blessings.
Have a look at what people think; they added some humour in it.

#IfTwitterWasAReligion. Getting enough likes and RT’s could make you a high priestess.

#IfTwitterWasAReligion we would say “many retweets” instead of God bless you and “like” instead of amen
