Comedian Wanjiku celebrates anniversary in style

Isn’t love a beautiful thing?

Churchill show comedian Teacher Wanjiku has [proved that love is indeed bautiful and is in the air after she celebrated her four year anniversary with husband Victor Ber on her social media instagram page.

In the sweet post she captioned saying that Ber was all she ever wanted; a lover, friend and great husband.

“Happy anniversary to my one and only true love. You are a great husband, a father and a best friend. To many more,” she wrote.

In response, Ber wrote, “Happy anniversary to my one and only. This was, is and will remain the happiest day of my life.”

The two wedded in December 2014 at an invite-only wedding held at City Park, Nairobi.

The classy event was graced by over 10 comedians and top names in the entertainment industry.

They are blessed with two daughters a teenage and a 3year old toddler.

Teacher Wanjiku started the character of Teacher Wanjiku in a Heartstrings play called 43rd Kenyan tribe in 2007.a place where she met her husdand who is a creative director and also her manger.

She has also taken part in other set book plays and worked on more than 30 plays while being aided by directors Sammy Mwangi and Victor Ber.

Her big break was when she started doing stand up on her first performance at the Churchill Show in 2013 getting more than 200,000 Youtube views and more offers thereafter. She has since then appeared on a number of stages in Kenya and abroad including The Hot Seatand so on. She left Churchill in 2014 after her contract expired and came back with a guest performance as the show celebrated 15 years which was also Daniel’s 40th birthday.

She had her first television debut on Citizen TV in 2014 after leaving Churchill Show. Her show Teacher Wanjiku debuted on Citizen TV in the same week as Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime’s Dont Mess With Kansiime. Her show was however scrapped off citing production standards. She then took a break from live performance to go have her baby. She came back with a one man show at National theatre in 2016 and was a success.

Wanjiku has been brand ambassador for a number brands including Airtel, Airtel Money, Unilevers Blue Band, Honda, Bata, USAID, National Bank and so many others. She became a Dettol Ambassador after former ambassadors Julie Gichuru, Lulu Hassan and Patience Ozokwor. She also worked in the office of the president, at nation media group as a radio presenter at Q FM, Kenya Literature Bureau educating children about there sexuality, USAID promoting police reforms, Theirworld film campaign .
