The World woke up to great news today of the country being placed on the map on athletics. Everyone singing the tune of our very own who has made the country proud.
The tunes are about one of our finest, talented,gifted, passionate .. name them all distance runner Eliud Kipchoge.Eliud Kipchoge has been crowned the 2018 IAAF Male athlete of the year.
This comes after he set a World Record of 2:01:39 in Berlin marathon in September.
The same award was once won by The former 800km race winner a record breaker in 2010 David Rudisha. This time round is the World who have joined Kenya in celebrating this great achievement.
Eliud Kipchoge has drawn a lot of interest and helped transform the face of marathon in the world right now considered as an idol of many a young.
“Eliud Kipchoge 2:01:39” is the title of the book written and edited by British freelance journalist Steve Landells and produced by Kipchoge’s NN Running Team which operates under his management company, Global Sports Communications.
The book shows the contribution of Eliud Kipchoge to the transformation of the world athletics right now.
Kipchoge was up against US world indoor 60 metres record holder Christian Coleman, Sweden’s pole vault European champion Armand Duplantis, France’s decathlon world record holder Kevin Mayer and Qatari hurdler Abderrahman Samba.
