Neville makes prediction ahead of Man Utd-Arsenal clash

Gary Neville wouldn’t be surprised to see Manchester United turn up and beat Arsenal on Wednesday night despite their poor run of form. Will you? I won’t.

The Red Devils have failed to win any of their last three matches in the Premier League, while the Gunners are currently on a 19-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Jose Mourinho has dominated the headlines in the build-up to the match at Old Trafford after he reportedly called Paul Pogba a ‘virus’ in a dressing room rant.

The Gunners will no doubt be confident going into the match given their current form, however Neville reckons United could spring a bit of surprise.

“Old Trafford is always a difficult place to go so it wouldn’t surprise me if United win on Wednesday night,” he told the Gary Neville Podcast.

“However, what United will now recognise is that they have had that warning from Arsenal (by beating Tottenham).

“No team should be shocked about how Arsenal are going to play going in to big matches.

“United are in a massive battle to get in the top four, or the Europa League places in fact.”
