What a mood he was in today.Jose Mourinho refused to give any team news away ahead of Manchester United’s midweek clash with Arsenal on Wednesday night.
Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly missed the 2-2 draw against Southampton at the weekend, while the club await news on Phil Jones after he reportedly picked up an injury during the match.
Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford came off during the game with knocks, while Ashley Young is suspended for the fixture against the Gunners.
However, Mourinho was giving little away when it came to squad news but he did say United would again face selection “difficulties”.
“We are going to be in difficulties again to build the team,” Mourinho told MUTV. “We are again going to have to make adaptations and compensations to try to give some balance to the team.
“But then I believe we are again going to have the spirit to fight and to try and to win the match.”

When asked if the squad news wasn’t great, Mourinho simply replied: “No.”
And when he was pushed, Mourinho provided an arsey response to the interviewer, he said: “No. I don’t want to update you, Arsenal TV to make the same questions but they don’t they hide everything from the inside, so why should I answer to you so why should I give anything to you.”
