At last Citizen Tv News anchor Jacque Maribe has resumed work at her place of work, Royal Media services.
She resumes after a long break following her arrest with connection to the murder of businesswoman Monica Nyawira Kimani who was murdered in September at her Kilimani apartment in Nairobi.
For the past two months Jacque has gone through hell and back from spending a whole month in prison somewhere I believe she had never gone before maybe just to visit someone, but it seems all is coming to play after a source revealed that she had actually resumed.
Following a revelation from an anonymous source said, I am told she was back at work yesterday and will essentially hold her old responsibilities minus going on air.
So in essence she is a news Editor who will compile and arrange stories that will run on air.”
However, she will not go on air for the next couple of months to come following her pending case in court.
This is one of the conditions given when she was released on bail by Justice James Wakiaga. She is also not to conduct interviews on matters related to the case.
Last month, she was allowed to access her house to pick the things she needs, but her car and iPhone are still being held as investigations are ongoing.
Jacque was charged with murder together with her fiance Jowie Irungu where she was accused of been an accomplice to her fiance on the Murder case.
Jowie was however not released and will hence stay in remand until the cases of the two are heard in July 2019.According to Judge Wakianga Jowie was a threat and did not have a place to stay.
