Video: Kanjos new hobby following Sonko’s directive of no matatus in CBD

For a moment most city dwellers thought that Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko was joking about the move to bar the matatus from from entering the city but he was so damn serious.

The city has has been turned into a walking city after most of the matatus woke up to road blocks in the early morning to the points which were directed by the county.

Most people have taken out on social media to express their dissatisfaction on the move to ban the matatu from accessing the city.

The county government did not offer an alternative means like other countries such as Tanzania, Rwanda which have adopted the same policy and its working.

The current situation has encouraged pick pockets , risked the lives of most Kenyans using the fly overs as they are experiencing a massive congestion which pose a looming threat to human lives.

The disabled people  have not been spared by the move which is seemingly favoring the rich who own cars.

But how do you bar a matatu with 14 passengers and allow a personal car with only one person to access the city? beats logic.

The county askaris have found a new hobby to make the rule be effectively be implemented. They have decided to clump matatus that are currently in the city.
